I just finished my 244-page (fictitious) graphic novel about my game industry experiences.
It looks very crude, but should be to the point. For some reason, it seems to be also quite eagerly anticipated.
And now, I'm tired. Drawing 100 pages in 5 weeks may be the cause. Anyway, here is the cover.
I'm not very big on collecting original artwork / autographs, but somehow during the years some pieces have tumbled themselves on my hands; such as autographed book from Ray Bradbury and Alan Lee, autographs from actresses of Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill! and some other stuff.
Today I got my original doodle from Ralph Bakshi, because I backed his animation project 'Last days of Coney Island' in Kickstarter. As a reward I got original doodle from him (on the right, the pic on the left is sticker)
So yeah, kinda neat :-)
If there is a geek treasure I would REALLY want it would be a copy an uncut VHS workprint of Black Cauldron..
This is an illustration for the song "Frosty" by Legendary Pink Dots. When I first heard it, I "saw" this comic in my head immediately and wanted to do it for great many years. I did it year ago and forgot about it again. Maybe it's time to post it.
After the festival, it is nice to actually sit down and reflect on all the strange and wonderful happenings, and feelings attached to the things that you went through but had no time yet to think about.
Because working on this stupid job is slowly killing me, I had to force myself to draw these. Last of the pics below was done last week, but I was so bored with it that I didn't bother to scan it first, and I was going to destroy it. Today I have absolutely nothing to do at the office, so what the hell. I guess I can include the failed one as well, to show that I'm just a human.
This was almost ok, but I lost interest before I was able to finish it
This was fun to draw at first, but then I screwed up the proportions and lost interest
I have no idea why I had done something as generic and boring as a gag based on bird poop.
Maybe because I was so bored. Or because I like birds. I actually enjoyed drawing this more than looking at it. But I'll share it, just to punish you.
